How the L.A. Coliseum persuaded WWE to bring WrestleMania to Los Angeles

Two decades before the WWE began regularly holding WrestleMania in football stadiums, the L.A. Coliseum pitched and persuaded WWE to host its biggest show of the year there with hopes of a crowd of more than 100,000. It didn't work out as hoped.
