Blue Jays demote struggling Devon Travis to minors

The Toronto Blue Jays have optioned slumping infielder Devon Travis to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled right-hander Carlos Ramirez. Travis started on opening day and was expected to be Toronto's regular second baseman but has struggled at the plate, batting .148.
